Passionate about community development my work with the CWP(Community Development Programme) led me to explore more about Permaculture. I completed my first course with UKUVUNA and later completed my PDC with SEED.
I went on to work and design my gardens on a 1 ha.
Working with UKUVUNA and AWARD(The Association for Water and Rural Development) in Limpopo we worked with small scale farmers to introduce them to climate change adaptation strategies.
I am keen on organic food production and worked for the Sustainability Institute with the animal traction project on the organic farm.
My work with free-range poultry won me an award as Female Farmer for the Western Cape in 2005.
I have worked in Cameroon on climate change adaptation projects and recycling of plastic waste to create useful items.
I am passionate about healthy living and producing food systems to promote health for communities.
