I've lived in Utah most of my life. I have a lifelong interest my region, particularly botany and applied ecology, also history, philosophy as related to the land. I have run a small arborist business for two decades, focused on natural target pruning. Over the years I've worked with sheep, currrently run a few turkeys. I have recently been teaching local plants and their uses, and the land-based tradition in America and Utah. I took a Permaculture Design Course in the 90s from Tim Murphy and Vicky Marvick near Phoenix, AZ. I'm hoping now to make big changes towards living my dreams.
Current Enterprises:
Springtown Trees: pruning and removals, heirloom tree restoration, etc.
Botanical Expeditions: walks, workshops on plants, land, holistic resource management and permacultural design, and the land-based tradition and philosophy in Utah, America, the world.
