Jeff received his PDC training from Scott Pittman in August 2006 in Santa Fe-NM, USA. He then received his BioConstruction Certificate in July 2007 from Ecocentro IPEC, Pirenópolis-GO, Brasil. More recently, he took the natural topbar Intensive Beekeeping Course with Les Crowder in August 2010 near Taos-NM, USA.
Jeff was also the 2 year chairperson for the Sedona-AZ branch of the American Solar Energy Association in 2003-4. In June 2004, he earned his Residential General Contracting License in Arizona. Jeff has been architecturally designing sustainable healthy homes since 1997. He was also a member of Sustainable Arizona and the Sustainable Buildings Institute Council (SBIC).
Jeff started with permaculture via weekend workshops in Tucson-AZ, and loved all the systems working with nature. Seeing that permaculture can recreate Gardens of Eden, he became more serious in it by reading the books and attending the PDC training, and continues with DVD and book studies.
For the last two years, Jeff has designed a large walkable Sustainable Development project on 320 hectares. It will house 1500+ people, provide 140 businesses, and totally integrate residential, commercial, social, educational and recreational areas, along with light-industrial, agricultural and preservation zones.
