Ian is an Educator, Strategist, & Permaculture Designer. He promotes social and spiritual revival by developing and implementing creative solutions for regenerative internal and external environments. Ian is the Owner/Founder & Creative Director of U&i LLC, an educational consulting business that specializes in self-reflection studies, environmental awareness, and permaculture design. By using the permaculture ethics and design principles he encourages the creation of regenerative and sustainable systems by reviving our connection to the natural world and to ourselves.

Ian has completed a total of 3 PDC's between November 2015 and October 2017, all with Bill & Becky Wilson of Midwest Permaculture. He completed their Advanced Training in Teaching Permaculture in July, 2016. Most recently, he was a Teaching Assistant to one of Midwest Permaculture's combined PDC + Natural Building trainings hosted at Cal-Earth in Hesperia, CA.

Ian is also an instructor at Formless Form Qi Gong and an educator at the University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. He has explored yoga, meditation, taiji, qi gong, and kung fu. He remains a committed practitioner of these disciplines, and finds the cross pollination of multiple spiritual arts has allowed him to delve deeper in to the path and each practice.
