(projects i'm involved in)
I have always gardened. Ten years ago I was trained in biodynamic gardening while I was a chef at a Waldorf school in Stockholm, Sweden. I have always worked with people and wanted to make the world a better place for all living things to be in.
I read One Straw Revolution many years ago and was very inspired. I have at various times entertained plans to move to the country and live a simpler and happier life with a garden the way Masanobu Fukuoka did. Recently circumstances in my life gave clear signals that it was time for me to change into a more sustainable way of living and share that with others in new way. I spent some time reading up on Mollison, Holmgren and others and decided to take the PDC.
Next spring my husband and I will move to my family property with the intention to start working on soil improvement, vegetable gardening, building a green house, planting native trees as well as fruit trees, after we spend the necessary time to observe and design the space. It is all in the bud so far, but we have great visions! Please keep checking back with me for more concrete projects and questions about all the experience you have!
