I'm 50-ish, live in Oklahoma, work a Registered Nurse educator, and have a small business promoting and organizing vintage & handcrafted shopping events. I've been strawbale gardening the last few years, but we finally bought some land & I want to move into real homesteading & permaculture. We bought 2 acres that has a small creek on the north edge and a slight slope across the entire lot. The soil is not in great shape, so there is some work to do on that while we are building our house. In the meantime, I'm learning and applying Permaculture & homesteading skills, and looking for a mentor because I'd like to pursue a PC Diploma.
