My name is Rob! And my passion is trees! I have discovered Permaculture beginning of 2017 and since then haven't spend a day not thinking about how to integrate regenerative practices into our lives.
Originally I studied Area Studies for Asia, writing my thesis regarding Social Movements and the Muslim Feminist Movement in Indonesia. Are Studies is just the socialogical aspect of permaculture, since the focus lies on understanding the world by connecting multiple disciplines.
My interest goes beyong permaculture and lies at the diverse regenerative design approaches, so personally I see only one design way: the one where human society and the plant and animal realm are woven together to one, balanced holistical system.
After my PDC I worked in landscape design and as a permaculture practitioner in the Mindfulness Project in Thailand. My expertise lies mostly in Subtropical plants.
