Permaculture became known to me while I was living in Los Angeles, California and I was desperate to reconnect with nature. I watched and read all that I could find about permaculture in the coming years, culminating with moving to a 5 acre plot of land in the foothills of central California and getting my Permaculture Design Certificate from the Oregon State University online program. I am developing the 5 acres using permaculture principles and hoping to start a permaculture design and landscaping business.
