I took my PDC with RDI in Santa Cruz, California in 2010 and took most of the course but was unable to participate fully in the design project before we moved. We moved to Japan in December 2010 and are now renting a house with a tiny yard so I am adjusting to container gardening. Our house is next to a family-run conventional farm that sells its produce via a stand in the neighborhood. It is very hard not owning my own land and making improvements. My children are 4 and 5 and having a wonderful time here in Japan. We do not know how long we will live here.
