(projects i'm involved in)
I am a registered architect and I've been specializing in residential design since 1994. I began the process of bringing more sustainability to my practice by becoming a Certified Green Professional through both the National Association of Home Builders and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. I have also been involved in LEED-H projects for both Habitat for Humanity and the Akron-Summit Youth Build Project.
In 2010, I attended a permaculture design certificate course with Midwest Permaculture at Blueberry Hill blueberry farm, which some friends are in the process of transforming according to permaculture principles.
I am currently incorporating permaculture strategies at my own home, and am seeking to guide my architectural practice towards clients who are interested in enthusiastically embracing seriously sustainable construction and encorporating permaculture principles throughout their home property.
