I live in Daytona Beach FL.
My passion for permaculture design is almost inevitable, given that I grew up spending a lot of time out in nature, then lived and traveled in Japan and other countries where I glimpsed a far more sustainable design approach than the mainstream here in the USA. I took my first PDC in 2005 and went on to become a publicist and course registrar for Austin Permaculture Guild. I also help permaculture-oriented small businesses with everything from website graphics to sign-painting, to digging in the dirt and cleaning out garages.
My particular interests include urban permaculture, eco-cities, the Tiny House movement and Pure Salvage Living Movement, human-powered transport, appropriate technology, semi-nomadic lifestyles, Collaborative Consumption, "Cloud Everything". One of my projects right now is a free public food zone in the corner of our front yard. My goal is to turn public food into a widespread urban craze.
