(projects i'm involved in)
My background is in Teaching, Management and Book-selling 'until now' I own and operate a short term accommodation business set on 5 acres on the outskirts of Derby in the far north of Western Australia.
I have studied Permaculture for years and implemented many aspects in an ad hoc way again 'until now'! Having just completed my PDC with Mustafa Fatih Bakir, an extraordinary teacher and a most wonderful group of fellow students at the Murujan Centre in Kuala Lumpa.
This course caused many'pennies to drop' in my understanding of how to go about setting up a sustainable system with the constraints of our climate and environment. My primary current project is to turn our Natural Swimming pool into a more productive food producing aspect of the property and to start introducing Permaculture concepts to the wider community here in Derby
