I have an agriculture background - ancestors were pioneer farmers of lower Blackwood area Western Australia. For myself, 25 years in farming environment /industry/ community.
Completed my PDC with Geoff Lawton - online in 2013 after searching for a better way. I immediately booked to go to the permaculture Research institute at Zaytuna Farm for an urban permaculture course and then the Sustainable Soils Management course.. I met Geoff Lawton and Bill Mollison - an amazing experience to see all I had seen in the DVD footage.
My commitment in turing our home into an aesthetically pleasing urban permaculture site is my main focus.
I recently held an open garden day and workshop at my place where we looked at the 100+ Fruit herbs and vegetables growing in my urban yard.
Having completed my PDC, Soils Management and Urban Landscape Design course, I was keen to find my own patch.
