Since completing a science degree in the 70's I have become increasingly captivated by the Permaculture movement and have been lucky to teach in schools in Victoria where I could work on projects with young people. After moving to North Queensland with my family I set up a permaculture based rural property and taught music in a local school.
I now live a rental lifestyle in Townsville in close proximity to my family. Although I miss the rural permaculture lifestyle, I have chosen to explore urban permaculture lifestyle options. I now teach in a city school and am lucky to be working with young people to design and set up permaculture projects within the school community.
