(projects i'm following)
I am a Canadian now settled in Australia with my partner. We live for the moment on a farm just outside of Orange NSW. The owners of the land run a small scale organic belted galloway herd, I have a small vegetable garden, and my partner works as a stone sculptor. I have a bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and have worked in fisheries for a few years in Canada and the USA. The past 4 years I have been travelling and learning more about farming and growing and developing my passion and direction for living the change I want to see in the world.
I hope to expand my vegetable garden, try growing a food forest, and get more involved in the local permaculture group. I would like to gain some more experience with permaculture by doing an internship or working overseas or in Australia. I have some interest in learning to share permaculture with others and helping projects get off the ground.
