I have always asked myself why we waste so much and why we don't respect earth. I have been a permie since before the term was coined. I have always wanted to execute a permacultural project.
Trying to find ways to live greener, I came across the term and found Bill Mull's books, which I read avidly.
This made me look for a piece of land where we could execute this project and make a demonstration site where people could learn about permaculture and the right way to do things.
We bought a 100 acre piece of land on the Guatemalan Caribbean, we have left our land resting for 3 years, after intensive corn planting; and now we are starting to plant wood endemic trees and making our nursery for further species.
We wish to receive visitors, tourists and collaborators. We have a piece of natural tropical humid jungle, a few caves and a stunning view of the BahÃa de Amatique.
