I'm an Iowan living and working in The Hague.

I came upon permaculture when I heard the word a few times and googled it. I had a good feeling about it, signed up for a course in Costa Rica, and received my certificate in February 2012.

I have started a city garden, including a balcony container garden. I'm currently going through the mourning process of several plants suddenly dying and acknowledging that it's all a part of the learning process. ;)

My intentions are to log significant experience in permaculture design through either community activism in the Netherlands or an internship abroad. I will, within the next 3 years, move beyond my current existence behind a computer to become a creator within nature. No more suits and powerpoint presentations, unless of course, it's for a permaculture cause!
