I believe we have see design questions of our landscape and architecture from the perspective of ecology. For what already exists after 3.8 bilion years of research and development (natural selection) has proven to be a suitable and effective solution in our context (earth)

For this, I am working on two paths.
1 ) Food Forestry Netherlands
Delicious food in combination with an abundant nature .Through dissemination, training , design, consulting & implementation we promote and encourage the development of Forest Gardens in the Netherlands This is currently almost a full time job for me.

2 ) Refurbishing my own home to make it as independent as possible from the grid .
Here I try and test my view of architecture and ecology. My research question is; How can my pattern of living provide a service to the house so that in return it helps me in providing with more than just shelter. With more I mean things that involve our basic human needs such as food, drinkable water and warmth.
All under the hat of Low tech and passive technology which breathes with natural ecosystems . I later hope to make this also possible for others. Æ -Architecture & Ecology
