I'm a computer professional and amateur musician and composer. I also work on landscape photography, and place a new recent photo on my website every day.
I'm starting out in 2012 to try to grow a food forest, after discovering permaculture this year. I've had many of the same ideas over the past years of lazy gardening, but I have been too timid in going about things. Now I feel I can be bold. I hope to feed birds and other wildlife around as well as myself, eventually.
I am a messy person who will have a pretty messy garden, but I'll continue to include pretty flowers to try to offset that. I intend to have a lot of fun with this, and I intend to make lots of experiments. Permaculture is so new (in some ways), that I feel there is free rein to explore gut feelings and intuitions about what will work. How fun is that?
