Observation and reflection have always been strong points of mine, and permaculture has me looking at every landscape for potential. I received my designer's certification in June 2015, and have continued to practice and supplement my skills. My personal work aims at cost-effective design interactions which best utilize what can sometimes be scarce resources.
Having lived and observed within cool to cold temperate United States my entire life - from the alpine slopes of Colorado above 9,000', through the arid high plains to the river bottoms and farmlands of the Midwest, and down into the temperate rain forests of western North Carolina - I consider these to be the areas I am most well-versed.
Currently, I am the acting designer and director for Wakarusa Valley Permaculture, LLC., out of Overbrook, Kansas; and also perform design consultation and installation of any scale, urban and rural.
