For the past 3 years, I have been a volunteer at GreenFriends Farm, a volunteer run permaculture farm in Castro Valley, CA.
My present permaculture activities involve planning, organizing, and running events at GreenFriends Farm. These events include: educational courses, tree plantings, and community outreach events such as orchard tours of all the exciting work we are doing at the farm.
Geoff Lawton and Dr. Elaine (Soil Food Web pioneer and expert) have both taught courses at our farm, and their expert advice has shaped the development of the 200+ acres that the farm resides on.
