My focus and passion is how to introduce urban and suburban environments to permaculture. These high-density population pockets are the areas most vulnerable to disruption in the food supply, and it's important to bring food production back into cities and suburbs to nourish the body and spirit.

I manage my own backyard farm and frontyard prairie garden, a demonstration garden in my local park, and I'm working to establish an allotment garden and food forest in my neighborhood.

I have more than a decade's experience in marketing and communication, six cats, six chickens, and one child. I also hold a PDC granted by Midwest Permaculture.
