Recently moved from Sydney, Australia. I grew up on a farm in south east Scotland, used to be an engineer but always knew I'd return to nature one day. So in Sydney I studied Conservation and Land Management and worked though various positions doing bush regeneration, mapping noxious weeds and managing contractors and volunteers in bush restoration projects. All the while volunteering with The Wilderness Society to protect the whole island continent of Australia. But it was always too hot for me in Sydney and I missed the mountains, so here I am in Nelson...naturally!
Currently loving living here except for being unemployed, so looking for work in outdoor/adventure tourism, conservation or horticulture/etc....., whilst learning about sustainable living and looking for somewhere special to live...permanently!
