Just finished my PDC in Australia (Victoria), now I'm back in Germany and looking forward to finding out more about PC here!
Before my 7 months traveling and wwoofing in NZ and Australia, I studied nutrition science in Germany and, after that, did a voluntary year where I worked on a "school farm" and for an organic farmer´s association (Bioland).
I became interested in permaculture because I was always interested in ecology and nature as well as in food, so pc matches these things with my thriving for a more sustainable lifestyle. I loved wwoofing because I met very interesting people and could get a lot of insights and gain some knowledge.
Now, back home, I started my own mini-garden on the balcony, but so far the plants are not growing too well... Anyway, looking forward to having my own real garden someday.
During the time I live in Cologne, I want to
- expand my knowledge about plants and soil
- get involved with urban gardening projects
- get to know permaculture projects in the area
- hopefully meet interesting people and start acting
Anyone living in the area with similar interests - please contact me, I´m waiting for permie people :)
