My background is as a horticulturalist with over 15 years experience in a range of areas including Landscaping, Viticulture, Nursery and TAFE Training.

I've been informally practicing permaculture since completing my horticulture qualifications in 1997 in Western Australia and have since moved to Newcastle, NSW where I am developing a business (Newcastle Backyard Farms) which focusses on designing and developing permaculture systems, both urban and rural, in the Hunter Valley region.

My recent PDC at Zaytuna Farm with Geoff Lawton marks my commitment to working in permaculture related projects from now into the future.
