I grew up in the mountains surrounding the High desert that is Kamloops BC. I've lived throughout the Okanagan, Northern Alberta in the tundra, as well as Edmonton and Calgary. Currently my wife and i are travelling the globe, looking, learning, and loving everything we see.
My wife Alicia was the one who introduced me to Permaculture as she had been involved in a community permaculture garden in Victoria BC. I took the mention of it and ran with it. I love research, and quickly realized where my life would go.
Currently I am at Zaytuna Farms in NSW Australia, taking my PDC with Geoff Lawton. I intend to do some further soil courses, as well as find an internship to further my education. When we finally arrive back in Canada, I would love to buy a property in the Okanagan or BC, re-establish a piece of degraded land, and created our own permaculture center/school. I would love to be involved in community projects back home, teaching children through adults. I would love to do consulting work as well.
