I've started gardening and growing organically long time ago,but somewhere along the way I fell in love with permaculture.That love led me to take OPDC by Geoff Lawton , after watching and reading a lot, and realizing that I need to learn a lot more to make a go of my property. Right now I'm working on establishing small farm and nursery in a serious drought conditions. The knowledge and experience I've gained so far, is not enough.There is always more to learn and see,and I love being a part of ever growing permaculture community,sharing and exchanging the ideas and plans.
Right now ,beside the work on my property,I'm helping with my neighbor's property. We are establishing water collection systems,from swales and gabions,to rain barrels,and collection ponds.Main goals ,beside water collection,are establishing the food forest and preventing erosion on the slopes.
