I consult, teach and design with experience in mediterranean, high and low desert and coastal and continental humid climates. Small properties in dense urban settings seem to be where most of the action is for sustainability, where we can reach more people.

I hold two design certificates, 2010 from Warren Brush in Quail Springs and 2013 from Geoff Lawton's first online course. But I continue to study and I am always increasing my skills and knowledge. I became a UCCE Desert Master Gardener with Riverside County, California, USA in 2016. In 2017, I trained to become a Master Composter with Riverside County Department of Waste Resources. In 2019 I became a California Certified Nursery Professional. In 2020 my goal is to facilitate community demonstration sites in my local area and to be available to travel to help set up sites and help educate local people.

In 2007 I began gardening. During my self education process, I came across permaculture and fell in love with everything permaculture. It makes me happy and it gives me hope that there is a solution to all our problems. Since 2007, I have been growing as much food as I can plus I have been implementing appropriate technology in order to become more self reliant. Everyday is an adventure.

October 2013 I began helping homeowners become more sustainable and self reliant by turning their small urban lots into edible gardens. I think there is big potential in laundry to landscape greywater systems that support fruit trees, reducing lawn area except where there is a specific purpose, modifying irrigation to drip systems, building small animal enclosures and teaching my clients as much as I can about permaculture.

In March 2017 I started WWOOFING to gain experience in different climates and various property scales. It is a journey and an adventure and I'm loving every minute!
