Born in Germany and living in the US for over 30 years. Careers include home birthing, homeschooling mother of 3, hotel/restaurant manager, massage therapist, produce/grocery store owner, Yoga teacher, health and community advocate and now Permaculture person to round it all out.
I learned about Permaculture through a local meet up group and found that I had come home. Most principals I practiced already all my life (not the first one - patience is still not my forte), and have learned so much more since I started this journey.
I took my first PDC with Josh Robinson in San Diego in 2012 and just completed the online PDC course with Geoff Lawton. I have been the co organizer of a local permaculture meet up group and organized and/or co- organized several convergences, including the 2013 Southern California Permaculture Convergence. Also, I have organized a local Organic Edibles Garden Club with emphasize on introducing people to permaculture and have taught numerous classes on a variety of subjects.
