My background is communication design. I teach part time at RMIT University embedding systems thinking and sustainability into my teaching practice.
Curiosity lead me to a PDC in 2008 which changed has my life direction completely. Pausing to complete my Research Masters (which the PDC helped me achieve!) I am now back to pursuing urban permaculture through every avenue I can.
I am passionate about urban resilience and looking for ways to work upon this. I am a member of the Permablitz Designers Guild and the initiating group for Transition Brunswick.
Current projects:
South Melbourne Commons - design team member - working on the Orchard and Café Gardens.
Transition Brunswick communications including "Stories of Brunswick".
My own food producing haven at home! Some of my additional experiments at home include developing low tech mushroom cultivation and passive gravity fed clay pot irrigation.
I am working towards teaching permaculture, at the moment I am mostly pursuing self directed learning as I ponder a Diploma or accreditation through documented work.
