After 25 years in Retail as a small Environmental store owner, I decided to change my focus. I received a certificate in Horticulture from the local Community College. Classes like Plant Identification, Plant Science, Propagation, Nursery Management and an Internship with a California Native Plant Nursery.
I became interested in Permaculture because I read the Permaculture Magazines and Books that we were selling in our store, cover to cover over the years. I was always turning people on to Permaculture and would hear back how the PDC they took changed their lives and eventually I took my PDC.
Presently I am combining my Permaculture knowledge with my love for Native California Plants and my plant based lifestyle (Vegan) on our own land. Experimenting with plant guilds, micro-climates, water harvesting, earth works and natural building.
