I am a senior citizen with background in mechanical engineering, agriculture and system databases.I am an officer of a software consultancy firm and take care of an agri-research station that has become an orchard and now being converted into a food forest.

I began to be interested in permaculture when I stumbled upon Geoff Lawton on the internet. I got hooked on the tenets and principles and how they entertwined with physics, thermodynamics, hydraulics and other sciences; including economics! I was inspired by ordinary people achieving awareness that was not there before and being able to transform their part of the earth into a sustainable project in agriculture.

My present favorite is seeing our garden transform into an orchard and from an orchard into a food forest. Many visitors to our place are catching on; together, we work on their properties to create more food forests.
