I found my first PDC through a combined earth-bag building (superadobe) workshop in southern California. This immersion into architecture and ecology, and the passion of my teachers, really inspired me. I studied more, working at a south Florida CSA, eventually taking an urban PDC, learning much about the networks and infrastructure built into our agricultural system. I then traveled, to observe and interact with other design methodologies, working for a time in Central and South America. I took a tropical PDC, and began to focus my study on sustainable food security, and access to nutritious food. Traveled more, visited more for profit farms in China and Spain. Now I live in Colorado, and hope to get involved with local projects!
