I have been self-learning permaculture so far and practicing in my suburban tenement - a row house in a gated community.

My skills lie in concept creation and strategic planning of large projects and also project managing them. I am also broadly and functionally aware of alternate energy systems.

Global climate change and peak oil, IMO, are the two most important problems today. Among many solutions we hear of, I believe, permaculture has the most promising, practical and creative response.

By training I am a mechanical engineer with only initial career experience in that field. I have variously worked in the past 16 years in startups and large companies in consumer web, financial services, research orgs, and diversified conglomerates.

I am keen to connect with permaculturists with an India interests, including teachers and serious practitioners outside India wanting to do something in India.

Permaculture aficionados and wannabe practitioners in India also do connect.
