My education is Anthropology although my real education was in Pachamama, Father Sky and my backyard, which was surrounded on 4 sides by a farm, a bayou, a lagoon, and rural neighborhood Nature was my playground...interacting with animals, climbing trees, exploring the lagoon and bayou always observing the plants and animals. My father introduced me to gardening and also healing plants. I've had organic gardens since the '80's and studied medicinal plants in the early 90's.

I took my first PDC April this year (2013) in beautiful Tulum, MX. Returning home at the end of summer I purchased a 1910 bungalow and 1 1/2 acre to begin my project of incorporating sustainability and permaculture into my house and land with the goal of creating a homestead and healing center to reach, teach and share with others.

I am a founding member of Acadiana Permaculture Guild...we are a networking group of like minded people who care for the earth and want to share and exchange ideas of permaculture.
