I'm a serial entrepreneur, homesteader, political advocate for local economy / food systems, and now a proud graduate of Geoff Lawton's online PDC.

I discovered permaculture several years ago while searching for a way to reconnect with my food and the soil. The lessons permaculture has taught me thus far continue to effect my entire world view, and I've never been so optimistic for the future. I believe permaculture has the potential to address the inadequacies of our society's food, fuel, and fiber production and distribution systems that are currently failing.

My intention is to apply permaculture principals to as many aspects of my life and community as possible. I would like to design edible landscapes in my community, for private land owners, and most importantly to build long term resiliency into my own homestead. I also want to bring permaculture design to the underserved populations in my community, specifically those getting out of prison, single mothers, recovering addicts, the mentally and physically disabled, and young people that seek direction.
