The Newcastle Fair Share Festival is on again!
FRIDAY EVENING 9 MARCH TO SUNDAY 11 MARCH.

In this second and expanded festival we will explore issues related to social justice, sustainability, innovative social enterprises and strong resilient communities through panel discussions, interactive workshops, and engaging debates. There will be great entertainment including music and magic and stalls with interesting food options.
Overview

Friday night 9 March, 6.30 - 9.30 pm hosted in partnership with One Just World
Can we tackle global poverty through sustained economic growth? What are the alternatives?
Join us for an exciting Q&A panel debate on this issue with expert panellists including Daniel Ben Ami, author of Ferraris for All and Cheryl Kernot, Director of Social Business at the Centre of Social Impact UNSW.
Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March
The Key Note Speaker is Dr Shann Turnbull, Principal of the International Institute for Self-governance, an expert on fairer organisations and building financially stable communities.
Workshops and presentations on:

*permaculture beyond the garden *asset-based community development
*spirituality & sustainability *kid’s drama workshop *sculpture building
*on-line social activism for youth *build a pedal-powered sound system
