(projects i'm following)
Originally from Mexico City, in 2005 I came to study in Australia a degree in IT.
After finishing, I realized that i wanted to be a part of something bigger and not being inside the system so I had my first encounter with Permaculture by doing a PDC at the University of Melbourne...
Firstly, I went to do some wwoofing at the Sunshine Coast, and then moved to the Permaculture Institute in Sisters Creek, Tasmania. I got hired as a Sales Coordinator for Tagari publications, and as a wwoof coordinator for the institute. I spent there a year and a half.
While I was there I taught some Introduction to Permaculture courses and talks in Mexico, Brazil and Australia, also taught Superadobe building courses in Mexico and Australia.
Also, I spent some time in Brisbane doing some urban garden maintenance, nowadays I live in Melbourne working with landscaping, sustainability and education..
With Gerardo Gonzalez, founded the trust Permacultura Mexico, and will be building an Institute possibly in July 2012 in Puebla, Mexico.
Sustainable farm in its early stages, in one of the cleanest places in the world.
