Late Winter Projects

Preparing for Spring

Lots to do at Kamiah Permaculture, if only the weather would cooperate! As I write this it is snowing outside. Before that it seemed like Spring was just around the corner and now record cold temperatures are expected this week. There is wood to be cut for the small greehouse project. We are expanding the garden this year so the current deer fence needs to be relocated and added to and new garden beds to be laid out on contour. Our friend, Kyle Chamberlain, sent us a bunch of chestnuts and walnuts to plant for our tree nursery, and of course, we need to make lots of compost. It would be great to see a little sun...
