The March meeting of the High Plains Permaculture interest group will be a screening of the award-winning documentary "Garbage Warrior", highlighting Michael Reynolds of earthship fame.
From the box: "What do beer cans, car tires and water bottles have in common? Not much unless you're renegade architect Michael Reynolds, in which case they are tools of choice for producing thermal mass and energy-independent housing. For 30 years New Mexico-based Reynolds and his green disciples have devoted their time to advancing the art of 'earthship biotecture' by building self-sufficient, off-the-grid communities where design and function converge in eco-harmony."
Director Oliver Hodge has kindly granted us a free one-time educational screening license, so if you're near the Bismarck, ND area we welcome you to join us! The screening will be at the public library's meeting room C from 2-4pm on Sunday, 27 March - about 90 minutes film with a short discussion time open afterwards.
