Michael and I just received funding from King County's Vashon-Maury Island Groundwater Protection Committee to educate retailers and consumers on alternatives to hazardous pesticides.  We will be meeting with the local retailers soon to discuss how we can work together to keep them profitable by selling nontoxic solutions to homeowner's lawn and garden problems.  This effort began 9 years ago with Michael Laurie. This photo is of Michael and the manager of our local Ace Hardware store, when we delivered this year's green garden guides for his store.
