Starhawk is the author of eleven books on Goddess religion, earth based spirituality and activism, including The Spiral Dance, The Fifth Sacred Thing, The Earth Path and her picture book for young children, The Last Wild Witch, winner of the Silver Nautilus award. Her twelfth book, The Empowerment Manual: A Guide for Collaborative Groups is forthcoming in Fall of 2011. She consulted on the Women in Spirituality series of documentaries the National Film Board of Canada, and together with director Donna Read, founded Belili Productions, making documentaries on issues concerning women and the earth.
Starhawk is one of the founders of the Pagan spiritual network Reclaiming www.reclaiming.org, and directs Earth Activist Trainings, offering permaculture design courses with a grounding in spirit and a focus on organizing. www.earthactivisttraining.org.
