Rented a mini excavator and dug the swales. Planted with winter cover crop of hairy vetch, field peas, lupine, oats, and cereal rye, red clover, and daikon radish. The trees will go in over time as I can afford to buy them. Currently have planted 2 varieties of pawpaw, jujube, quince, melonberry, goji berry, 2 varieties of fig, pear, mulberry, and senna bicapsularis for N-fixing.
