We brought in a couple of Dwarf Nigerian wethers in the fall to clear brush and eat poison ivy. We planned to have the chickens follow the goats for soil improvement. When we let the chickens out, they went right to the area where the goats had been. Easy!
We've had nothing but snow or mud since fall, so we have not finished our high tunnel. The site was prepped and the vertical posts installed, but we want to avoid compacting the muddy soil with a tractor when installing the arches.
