I am very inspired by biomimicy, doing things hands-on, I love nature, building, and teaching. I received my PDC from the Center for Creative Ecology at Kibbutz Lotan in Israel. After finishing school and receiving my bachelors in Architecture from the University of Colorado, I traveled around the world visiting various eco-villages and sustainable communities following my passion for sustainable living. I attained great skills in organic gardening and in many natural building techniques.(straw-bale, mud, tires, recycled materials, earth-bags, and cement) I went to CRMPI the following year after receiving my PDC for my PDC Teacher Training certificate. This has allowed me to teach in the elementary schools as part of an educational outreach program for sustainable and environmental issues.
During the short warm season, I have been working on some home gardening. Many people think that it is impossible to grow food here because of such a high elevation. I have been using the permaculture techniques and grew over 30 varieties of food in 6 square feet. :)
Since moving to Park City Utah, I have dedicated most of my time towards my Pilates business, highly focusing on People-care. I have also been park of the Save our Snow Task force, a Teacher for Recycle Utah, and a Kids Yoga instrcutor. I am also working with city officials and other community members to start a community garden in town. We will hopefully break ground in the spring.
