I have been teaching permaculture designs since the early 1990's. I studied with Bill Mollison and have had the blessing of teaching with and hosting and learning directly from him, David Holmgren, and many other National and International permaculture leaders. I have been blessed to be invited to many places in the world to teach including Indonesia, Turkey, Greece, Canada, France, Portugal, Mexico, Hawaii as well as places through-out the United States.
I co-direct the Regenerative Design Institute with my husband James Stark. www.regenerativedesign.org I We also live on and run an organic permaculture farm called the Commonweal Garden in Bolinas California on the Northern California Coast. We offer courses here in Permacutlure Design, Leadership, Regenerative Living, and provide opportunities for people to experience Deep Nature Connection. I specialize in site planning, community resiliency, water development, plant system design, horticulture, bioremediation and earthen building.
We are planting an understory of medicinal plants both Native California plants as well as proven non-native highly functional plants for medicine. We distill our own oils and make hydrosols for creams and lotions. We are also planting out a dye garden for fibre to produce local fabric for clothing.
My goal is to cultivate unbridled creativity and curiousity in myself and others.
