I have an art and design background and grew up surfing the Taranaki coastline. In 1998 I took on the Permaculture ethos living in the far north of NZ on a diversified farm, this work led to an apprenticeship with Kay Baxter at Koanga Gardens furthered by a decade of study and field trials with John Jeavons using the Biointensive Gardening method in CA, PA, IO AUS and Taranaki New Zealand. An experienced seed saver having also worked with C.S.A/Passive Solar Greenhouse and Mob Grazing (Sheep) I have been fortunate to study with many international leaders in their fields and also mentored by many local Taranaki farmers .The SeedKeeper Farmlet runs a Small Farm School where students from around the world train in the garden growing and selecting seed. On the farm we move stock daily and graze neighbouring titles.
