After eleven years at University, Dan wrote and lectured philosophy until he did a two-week permaculture course, quit everything else, and went to work on permaculture projects in Australia, New Zealand, India, Ethiopia and Uganda. A co-founder of
the permablitz movement, Dan currently directs Very Edible Gardens (VEG), a Melbourne-based business specialising in urban permaculture design and edible garden implementation. Dan lives in Yarraville with
his partner Amanda and daughter Ciela.
