Artisan Army was set up with the objective of creating a concept project in true sustainability. Focusing on the utility of social space, intelligent landscape design & the principles of Permaculture the project aims to facilitate & showcase practical solutions to the sustainability challenges of our time.

The vision is to establish a national concept project to showcase solutions to the social & environmental challenges of our time focusing on 4 key principles:

(1) BIODIVERSITY - Agency facilitating greater biodiversity - moving from a linear to a holistic approach to land use.

(2) SHOWCASE SOLUTIONS - Showcase true self sufficient & sustainable systems solutions - holistic approach to environmental design with primacy of the local.

(3) SOCIAL RESOURCE - Learning, development & recreation - a shared social resource promoting true sustainable living & social cohesion.

(4) UNIQUE SPACE - Create a space that is aesthetically, socially & spiritually stimulating - a unique space cultivating human potential.
