I'm a independent software developer, mainly working for open-source and non-profit organisations. My work affords me a lot of freedom, and I have spent several years travelling and living around the world.

I first became aware of permaculture while travelling in the South Island of New Zealand in 2011 and it seemed to be offering a solution to many of the problems I saw with contemporary living. I continued to research the topic and I received my PDC in Thailand in 2012.

I am currently studying for my MSc. in GIS (Geographical Information Systems) and am doing my research in using GIS for Permaculture Design.
